Cox Capital Welcomes UML’s Sarah Wesinger to Internship Program

Sarah Wesinger Joins Cox Capital’s Internship Program.

Cox Capital is pleased to welcome Sarah Wesinger, the latest addition to CCM’s internship program. A senior at UMass Lowell in her final semester, Sarah is from Hudson, MA and has a strong quantitative background. Initially an engineering major, Sarah is currently earning a dual concentration in finance and management. After interning this past summer at Boston Scientific, she was offered a full-time position upon her graduation this December. Sarah will become part of Boston Scientific’s finance leadership development program (FLDP), where she’ll have the opportunity to sample a variety of roles at the company. Her primary role at Cox Capital this fall will focus on evaluating fixed income opportunities for the portfolio management team. Aside from her studies, Sarah fulfills her creative side by painting at her mother’s art studio. She chose UMass Lowell because of their excellent career development program and the high job rate among graduates.

“Sarah is an incredibly bright and driven person,” said CCM founder Bill Cox – “and she’ll continue the rich tradition of UMass Lowell students making an enormous impact Cox Capital.” Cox Capital started the UMass Lowell Internship Program in 2017 and has mentored nearly 10 students over that time, providing hands-on portfolio management experience and other finance-related skill development.
